Fast charging points for electric cars will be set up next to Grossi grocery stores by Ignitis

Ignitis is engaging the market for consultations on conditions for purchasing electricity for public supply customers

Ignitis, a smart energy solutions company that ensures public supply of electricity to private customers, is analysing options of fixing a part of the price for the electricity to be supplied to private customers who use the public supply services in order to mitigate the impact of the risks related to growing electricity prices. Before the launch of the electricity auction, Ignitis is inviting the participants of the electricity market to submit comments and proposals on the conditions for purchasing a part of the electricity required for public supply of electricity to private customers. The feedback forms are open from 2 October till 6 October via Mercell or CPP IS platforms.

Ignitis and Baltisches Haus have entered into a strategic partnership agreement

This is good news not only for electric vehicle drivers in the capital and other major cities, as the charging points will be located near shopping centres and other commercial areas in cities and towns where they are particularly welcome.

Ignitis governance optimised: board with a supervisory function starts work

The Supervisory Board and the Management Board of the Ignitis Group, an integrated energy services company prioritising renewable energy, have decided to change the two-tier management model of its subsidiary Ignitis to a one-tier one, i.e., to abolish the executive board formed by employees and to form a board with a supervisory function, and have approved the composition of the new board.

Ignitis has entered the Finnish market and has become one of the first independent gas suppliers in the country

Yesterday, on the 1st of January 2020, the company Ignitis became one of the first players in the Finnish gas market, which has now been opened to competition. Ignitis has, for the first time, delivered natural gas to Finnish consumers through the new Balticconnector gas connection which was opened on the same day. The company has already entered into gas supply contracts with numerous major Finnish business customers.
