A small premium, a guaranteed coverage
If you sign up for IGNITIS bill insurance, in case of an insured event, i.e., unemployment or temporary incapacity for work, you will receive a fixed insurance coverage you chose for up to 12 months and would be able to use it when settling your electricity bill.
IGNITIS bill insurance is available only to independent electricity supply customers.

Whom is this insurance service for?
- Only for IGNITIS independent electricity supply customers
- For those who are working in Lithuania for at least 6 months and at least 16 hours per week*
- For those who live in Lithuania at least 12 months
When does the insurance apply?
Please note! The insurance coverage is paid only if an insured event (unemployment, temporary incapacity for work) is longer than 30 calendar days and has started at least a month after the beginning of insurance coverage.**
- In case of unemployment due to the initiative of the employer or a bipartisan agreement, proposal (initiative) of the employer
- In case of temporary incapacity for work due to an illness or injury
How can I sign up for insurance and receive coverage?

Select the insurance for your independent supply contract
All IGNITIS customers who have concluded an independent electricity supply contract or intend to conclude it can opt into bill insurance.

Select an insurance service plan
Determine how much you pay or plan to pay for electricity per month on average.
Choose a fixed insurance coverage of similar amount, so, should an insured event happen, it would fully cover your bill.

Sign up for the insurance service
You can sign up for bill insurance online, by calling +370 6 112 1802 or by visiting a nearest customer service centre.

Pay together with the electricity bill
For your convenience, we will include insurance premiums into your monthly electricity bill.
Thus you will pay for them as usual. You will not have to worry about a separate payment.
