As of September, Timo Tatar, former Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of Estonia, with more than 20 years of experience in the energy sector, will take over the position of CEO of Ignitis Eesti.

This is good news not only for electric vehicle drivers in the capital and other major cities, as the charging points will be located near shopping centres and other commercial areas in cities and towns where they are particularly welcome.

The Supervisory Board and the Management Board of the Ignitis Group, an integrated energy services company prioritising renewable energy, have decided to change the two-tier management model of its subsidiary Ignitis to a one-tier one, i.e., to abolish the executive board formed by employees and to form a board with a supervisory function, and have approved the composition of the new board.
